We joyfully invite you to attend a talk by Dr Basanta Bidari titled “Following the Footsteps of the Buddha”.

Dr. Basanta is the retired Chief Archeologist of Lumbini Archeology Park, who discovered the marker stone in Lumbini that identified the exact birth spot of Prince Siddhartha Gautama.  He was also engaged in excavating Kapilavastu, the hometown of Prince Siddhartha, and the capital of the Sakya Kingdom in ancient India.  Dr. Basanta will be presenting this interesting talk at Nalanda Centre on recent discoveries in Nepal.
