With the double objectives to introduce the Buddha’s lay and monastic disciples, and to provide a training ground for public speaking, Pustaka Nalanda is organising the story-telling workshops on 7, 13 and 21 October 2012, 2 – 5pm.

We are inviting participants from Nalanda Youth Centre and Nalanda Dharma School, as well as other potential and committed volunteers of Nalanda to join this programme.   The three workshops will be conducted by Mr. Vijaya Samarawickrama who holds an M.A. in Drama & Theatre from the University of Hawaii.

We hope that this initiative will serve as an important bridging step to train more people to share the Dhamma, and become effective speakers/teachers eventually.
