On Saturday 19 January, the mood lightened at the busy markets in Seri Kembangan when two Sangha members supported by a team of Nalandians and volunteers went on alms-round. A long standing programme organised by Nalanda, Pindacāra provides an opportunity for the community to participate in this wholesome cultivation of generosity.

The group, led by the Temple’s President, Associate Professor Tan Kim See, was on a day-trip to visit several Buddhist centres around Klang Valley.

Read moreIn November 2018, the Wisdom Park Development Committee created the ‘Subcommittee on Ecology, Horticulture & Landscaping’. Nicknamed the “Green Warriors of Wisdom Park”, the group is tasked with greening the 39-acre campus and rehabilitating its environmental vitality. Efforts to reforest the campus with native flora started in April 2018. As of 17 December, 140 trees and 430 shrubs have been planted by volunteers on its spacious grounds.
