At 7.00 a.m. this morning, Nalanda Dharma School teachers and students gathered for Pūja at Nalanda Centre before departing for Johor Bahru for a teenagers’ leadership camp.  Nalanda Founder Bro. Tan, President Lee Kong Foo, and Secretary Buddhini Tan were also present to wish the group a safe and successful trip.

Bro. Tan officially handed the Buddhist Flag and Nalanda Flag to two students – Choo Yi Kang (the Naga House Captain) and Ho Yuan Zhan (Garuda House Captain) – to lead their House members on a successful mission.  Bro. Tan advised everyone to always carry oneself mindfully and to personify Buddhist values and the Nalandian culture.

The bus left Nalanda Centre at 7.40 a.m. on its journey to NEO Centre Johor Bahru and the Johor Buddhist Mission, where the 4-day camp will be held starting this afternoon.  We wish everyone an enjoyable time filled with much learning and great spiritual friendship!  Sukhihontu.
