The Department of Buddhist & Pali Studies is offering a 5-month Higher Certificate Course in Buddhist Studies starting 5 July 2014.  This course is suitable for those who have obtained the Certificate in Buddhist Studies (General) BPS301 or BPS302 or equivalent qualifications.

Course Dates :

5, 12, 19 July;

16, 30 August;

6, 27 September;

11, 18 October;

8, 22 November 2014.

Course Duration :  5 months (from July – November) on designated Saturdays.

Course Contents :

1)  Buddhist History

2)  Man and Sociology

3)  Buddhist Arts and Culture

4)  Buddhist Scriptures and Doctrines

5)  Term Assignments and Examination

Closing date for registration :  28 June 2014.

Note :  A field trip to Bujang Valley Archaeological sites in Kedah will be incorporated in this Course.
