31 August 2014 marks the 8th anniversary of the passing away of Nalanda’s late Spiritual Advisor – Venerable Dr. Kirinde Sri Dhammananda Nāyaka Thero.  This Sunday, Nalandians gather to commemorate his lifetime’s missionary work and celebrate his spirit and teachings with the following programme :

08.45 am – ‘Robes Procession’ from Nalanda House to Nalanda Centre

09.00 am – Pūja, chanting, and meditation

10.00 am – Dhamma talk by Bro. Tan

11.15 am – Sanghika Dāna – lunch offering to venerable monks

12.00 pm – Vegetarian lunch for devotees

12.30 pm – Toiling of bells marking the Memorial Day

12.40 pm – Dedication of merits
