We warmly welcome the new committee of Nalanda Kuala Lumpur branch.

Last Saturday 14 March, Nalanda Kuala Lumpur Branch members gathered for their 13th Annual General Meeting at the NEO Centre in Happy Garden.  The meeting was also attended by Nalanda Honorary Secretary Sis. Livin Leow and the Branch Coordinator Bro. Lee Kong Foo.

Members received and rejoiced over the 2025 report detailing the various Dhamma programmes and initiatives organised by the Branch for the community.  The Family Dhamma School, launched as a flagship inaugural programme by the Society 3 years ago has significantly impacted the community by fostering spiritual growth and familial harmony.

Outgoing Chairperson, Bro. Yong Keok Fatt expressed his gratitude for the trust by members.

Sis. Livin also shared updates and Bro. Kong Foo reminded us to remain grateful for the foundations laid by our pioneers and to honour their legacy by using this platform to do good and serve the Buddha-Sasana.

After receiving updates from the Branch Treasurer, members proceeded to elect the Branch Management Committee for 2026–2028. Outgoing Chairperson, Bro. Yong Keok Fatt expressed his gratitude for the trust by members and support for his tenure of 6 years and invited everyone to support the newly elected Committee members. 

We congratulate the Branch for a successful and harmonious A.G.M. and wish the new Management Committee led by Sis. May Tan a fruitful term ahead serving the Dhamma community with vigour and joy.
