31 August 2016 marks the 10th anniversary of the passing of Nalanda’s late Spiritual Advisor – Venerable Dr. Kirinde Sri Dhammananda Nāyaka Thero.  On this day, Nalandians gather to commemorate his lifetime’s missionary work and celebrate his spirit and teachings with the following programme :

09.00 am – Procession of Buddha Relic from Nalanda House to Nalanda Centre

09.30 am – Pūja, chanting, and meditation at Nalanda Centre

10.15 am – Dhamma talks

11.15 am – Sanghika Dāna – lunch offering to venerable monks

11.45 am – Vegetarian lunch for devotees

12.30 pm – Toiling of bells marking the 10th Memorial Day

12.45 pm – Dedication of merits
