Certificate in Buddhist Studies – Registration is now open!

Nalanda Institute Malaysia’s Department of Buddhist & Pali Studies is offering the Certificate in Buddhist Studies (General) course starting in July 2013. The four modules that will be covered are:

Basic Buddhist Doctrines
Buddhist Devotional Practice
Historical Development of Buddhist Text & Scriptures
Term Assignments & Examination

The course duration is 5 months (from July to November 2013) with 10 sessions including examination. Dates: 6 & 20 July; 3 & 17 August; 7 & 21 September; 5,19 & 26 October; and 16 November.

Time: 3pm – 6pm

Venue: Nalanda Centre, Taman Sri Serdang

Enrolment is open to all Malaysian citizens aged 18 years and above, and proficient in English.

The course is freely available to the public in line with the Institute’s charitable objectives.
