Blood Donation Drive concludes Observance Week on a wholesome note

Everyone rejoices over the successful Blood Donation Drive.

On Sunday 7 June, the Blood Donation Drive held at Nalanda Centre Sri Serdang concluded the Buddha Day Observance Week on a meaningful and compassionate note.  Despite the long holiday weekend, the programme received very warm response from the public, with nearly 200 donors registrants and 153 pints of blood successfully collected for those in need.

This encouraging turnout reflects the spirit of generosity and selfless giving of the donors who voluntarily offer a part of themselves to help save lives.  May this noble act of compassion brings comfort and hope to many patients and their families.

The hall is bustling with generous donors and hardworking staffs from Pusat Darah Negara, as well as volunteers.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all regular and first-time donors, organising committee, volunteers, as well as the dedicated staff of Pusat Darah Negara for their kindness, support and commitment throughout the day.

May this wholesome and meritorious deed inspire more people to contribute towards the well-being of society.  Together, we rejoice in the goodness generated and the positive impact made for the benefit of all beings.
