On Saturday 13 September, 30 Free School Students went on an excursion to Farm Fresh in Serdang.  During the half day learning trip, students were exposed to an interactive and fun ways to learn about the production of natural goodness.

Students were brought on a tractor ride to tour the farm while the tour guide narrated information about the area and the main sights like the sugarcane and banana plantation.  The students also had a chance to tour the barns and learned about cows and the milking process.

Students also learned about how insects and worms facilitate the composting process and hydroponic plants get their nutrients from a special nutrient-infused liquid.  They also got to see and interact with friendly animals at the farm.

We thank the management of Farm Fresh for sponsoring the entrance fee of teachers and students, and giving them a memorable and insightful day.  Sadhu anumodana!
