Joyful learning with good friends at BPS 104

Participants discuss happily with the peers their reflections from the lectures.

In the past weeks, participants of BPS 104 have been engaged in joyful learning at the basic Buddhist studies course in Mandarin.  Having completed seven of the eight sessions at NEO Centres in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Sungai Petani, they have forged friendships as they reflect on the lectures and share their insights with each other.

We rejoice in their spirited learning and welcome you back for the final lecture of the course this Saturday.  We also look forward to your participation in the Buddha Day Observance which is just a few weeks away, for a meaningful celebration of the Enlightenment of our Great Teacher, the Buddha.

Director of Nalanda Institute, Achariya Tan Siang Chye welcomes the participants and explains the programme structure as they embark on their learning journey.

Sis. Sua shares in the first about the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha.

Participants listen attentively at a lecture by Bro. Tong Siong Yeow.

Bro. Boon Keat delivers the lecture on the Four Noble Truths.

Bro. Aggaphala engages participants with relatable sharings.

Participants come together at NEO Centre Sungai Petani.

At NEO Centre Johor Bahru, participants learn and discuss together.

Participants have opportunities to ask questions at every session.

Participants at NEO Centre Sungai Petani give a thumbs-up after the session.

We wish the participants continued progress in the Dhamma learning.
