On Thursday 29 January 2026, the Nalanda Education Committee kicked off its first meeting of the year with drafting plans for the 20th Memorial Day of Nalanda’s late Spiritual Advisor – Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda.

This monthly meeting brings together the head of Nalanda educational divisions to strategise and synergise efforts to ensure every division are aligned in its direction and efforts.  The teams involved in this meeting include Nalanda Dhamma School, Nalanda Institute, Nalanda Free School, Nalanda Youth Centre, Pustaka Nalanda, Dhammaduta College, Training & Enhancement Centre, and the Sunday Service team.

The discussion marked an important first step for the year, grounding Nalanda’s programmes in a shared vision inspired by Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda’s lifelong dedication to Buddhist education.
