Nalanda’s 23rd AGM: Strengthening unity for the path ahead

Nalanda’s 23rd AGM: Strengthening unity for the path ahead

On Sunday 29 March, Nalanda members gathered for the Society’s 23rd Annual General Meeting.  Members received and approved the 2025 Annual Report, rejoicing in the unity and steadfast commitment of members, supporters, devotees, and volunteers.  This collective effort contributed to the growing number of Dhamma learning programmes, including the successful completion of WACANA 2025.

On behalf of the Board, President Sis. Buddhini Tan expressed heartfelt appreciation for the community’s unwavering support and harmonious teamwork in advancing Nalanda’s educational mission.

Members were also updated on the progress of Wisdom Park Phase 2, expected to be completed in 2027. The expansion highlights the need for greater financial resource for project development as well as increased human resources to support future programmes.

Amid evolving challenges, Sis. Buddhini called upon members to sustain their resilience, commitment and unity in heart and mind to steer this growing community forward towards achieving our vision and mission in providing holistic Buddhist education.  With right understanding and wholesome intentions, members were reminded to support one another as kalyāṇamittas on the path.

We extend our deep appreciation to all members and express special gratitude to our late spiritual advisor, Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda, as we honour his legacy and continue the Dhamma mission.  Sādhu anumodanā.
