Strengthening fellowship through volunteering service at Wisdom Park

Celebrating Uncle Vijaya’s 86th birthday together with good spiritual friends! Wishing Uncle Vijaya the best of health, happiness and peace.

On Saturday 10 January 2026, a group of Nalanda members and volunteers gathered at Wisdom Park, Kuala Kubu Bharu, for a joyful day of service and uplifting fellowship. The group joined hands to set up the venue and prepare accommodation for the participants of the upcoming meditation retreat with Venerable Gavesi, to be held from 16 – 25 January 2026. The spirit of joyful service, cooperation, and mutual care was strongly felt throughout the day, strengthening bonds among kalyāṇamitta.

Members and volunteers also rejoiced in the visit of Nalanda Buddhist Society’s patrons, Mr & Mrs Tee and Uncle Vijaya & Auntie Amitha. Long-time supporters of Nalanda Buddhist Society and the wider Buddhist community, their presence added to the sense of shared purpose. Sādhu anumodana to all volunteers, and may the merits accrued bring lasting joy and well-being to all.
