Free School Learning Trip to National Zoo

Free School Learning Trip to National Zoo

On Sunday 5 April, 38 students and 5 teachers from Nalanda Free School had a fruitful learning trip to the National Zoo. The educational trip aims to take students beyond traditional classroom learning and provide them with meaningful outdoor learning experiences.

The trip was eye-opening as it was the first zoo visit for many students. Students had the opportunity to observe wildlife up close, learn about different species and understand the importance of conservation in protecting the natural habitats of wildlife.

The group visited the Giant Panda Conservation Centre where students got to learn more about the habits, breeding and conservation efforts of the panda. Students also enjoyed the animal performance and tram ride around the zoo compound.

We would like to express thanks and gratitude to everyone who contributed to this fruitful learning trip.
