Nalanda members led by Sis. Nandinī Tan welcoming Ven. Chang Li (常礼法师) from Dharma Drum Mountain, together with PBUPM students.
On Saturday 18 April, 30 members of Persatuan Buddhist University Putra Malaysia (PBUPM) held a one-day learning camp at Nalanda Centre. Being in close proximity to UPM, we were glad to host the students once again and to provide a conducive environment for their learning and training.
Young and energetic, the group relished the opportunity to receive guidance from spiritual teachers alongside like-minded friends in a supportive learning environment. They also cultivated a sense of community that extends beyond the lecture room, supporting one another in their ongoing journey.

The learning camp is well-moderated and involves speakers with different yet interesting backgrounds.
One of their Dhamma speakers, Ven. Chang Li (常礼法师) from Dharma Drum Mountain, visited Nalanda Centre for the first time and was impressed by Nalanda’s mission and programmes. He admired Nalanda for hosting UPM students through learning camps and weekly meditation sessions.
We thank the Venerable for his encouragement and rejoice in the students’ enthusiasm for learning. We wish them well in both their academic pursuits and their spiritual development.
