On Monday 25 May, Nalanda Free School hosted a holiday craft workshop at Nalanda Centre with 17 students aged 9 to 13 eagerly participating. Teacher Ethel, along with several dedicated facilitators, patiently guided the students to the “Merry-go-round” craft.
This activity fostered creativity and also challenged the students’ patience and fine motor skills. As students brought their ideas to life, they became increasingly enthusiastic, watching ordinary cardboard transform into a delightful “Merry-go-round.” The session concluded with a sense of joy and accomplishment among all participants.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Teacher Ethel and volunteers for their dedication and efforts, sharing how art can turn everyday materials into extraordinary, fun-filled creations.
