Dhammaduta Collegiate trains in effective speaking

Dhammaduta Collegiate trains in effective speaking

On Tuesday 25 August, a public holiday, members of the Nalanda Dhammaduta College gathered for their second training with Achariya S. Vijaya, focusing on effective speaking and delivery.

Building on the first training on speaker culture and standards, participants learned practical ways to communicate the Dhamma with greater clarity, confidence and effectiveness.  The session covered how voice, pauses, body language and vocal expression can enhance delivery and help speakers connect more effectively with listeners.

Achariya Vijaya emphasised that effective Dhamma communication goes beyond having good content.

Participants learned to be more mindful of their tone, pace and choice of words, and to use pauses purposefully to give listeners space to reflect on important points.

Sis. Nandinī shared her observations and areas for improvement with Dhammaduta Collegiate.

The Director of Nalanda Dhammaduta College, Bro. Ananda thanked participants for their commitment to learning and serving.

Dhammaduta College Coordinator Bro. Tong welcomed feedback from participants and shared the schedule for the next training.

May all merits accrued be dedicated to the happiness and welfare of the many.

We thank Achariya Vijaya for his invaluable guidance and support.  May the collegiate continue to train and grow together in service of the Buddha-Dhamma and the community.
