PROFILE OF VEN. AJAHN JAYASĀRO
Ven. Ajahn Jayasāro is a senior monastic in the Thai Forest Tradition and former Abbot of Wat Pah Nanachat (1997-2002), a monastery established by Ajahn Chah for international monks. Originally from England, he joined the monastic community in 1978, first training under Ajahn Sumedho and later ordaining with Ajahn Chah. He is a respected Dhamma teacher across Thailand and a spiritual advisor to several schools, reflecting his deep commitment to Buddhist education.
Beyond the monastic sphere, Ajahn Jayasāro is an accomplished author and editor. His works include Without and Within, and Stillness Flowing, the acclaimed biography of Ajahn Chah.
PROFILE OF VEN. AJAHN KALYANO
Ven. Ajahn Kalyano is the Abbot of Buddha Bodhivana Monastery in Melbourne, Australia.
Born in London, his deep interest in Buddhism brought him to Thailand after completing his studies at Bristol University. He received ordination in the forest tradition of Ajahn Chah in 1985 and trained for many years under Ajahn Anan. In 2000, Ajahn Kalyano was invited to establish the forest tradition in Australia where he now resides.
