A wholesome day at Nalanda today

Free School teachers and volunteers brought their students for a study trip to Kuala Lumpur, to further their learning in its heritage and history.

Since the early hours of this morning, Nalanda members, volunteers and students have been actively engaged in several Dhamma and educational programmes as well as selfless service.  It is a blessing to be able to partake in these opportunities to learn and serve, hence let us wish them a smooth and productive process, as well as rejoice in these wholesome acts.

Dhamma School facilitators have also just started their 3-day retreat and training at Wisdom Park.

All three Nalanda Education and Outreach Branches in Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur and Sungai Petani are hosting Nalanda Institute’s BPS 204 course participants on a 3-day study trip to Bujang Valley.

Nalanda Youth Centre is hosting their fifth session of the F.U.N. programme for university students, whilst also preparing the programme and logistics to host friends from India coming for the Youth Exchange Programme (Y.E.P.).

At Wisdom Park, volunteers gathered to prepare the campus to host the 7-day Meditation Retreat by Ven. Sujiva which starts next week.

Learning through field trips help students visualise and absorb history better.
