Care Bags reach five welfare homes

Care Bags reach five welfare homes

Care Bags gifting to Bodhi Home Care in Cheras.

Last week, from 23 to 27 July, Nalanda volunteers have been presenting over 270 Care Bags together with healthy home-cooked meals and groceries to five children and elderly care homes around Klang Valley.  This week, another 170 bags will make their way to four homes located in Melaka, Seremban and Selangor.

Delighted to receive these goodies, the children and elderly expressed their appreciation to the many nameless, faceless and selfless donors who supported the ‘Care Bag Project’.  Volunteers also got the homes’ latest updates and marvelled at the good work done by the caretakers in ensuring the kids attend school, and elderly are well looked after.

We extend our appreciation to our kind Care Bag donors for enabling these gifts of love and care to reach those less fortunate.  We also invite everyone to join the ‘Care Bag Project’ to extend care to even more people; you can sponsor a bag at just RM20 each.  For more information, do contact Nalanda Centre at 03-8938 1500 or Mdm. Foo Ai Li at 010-2323919.  Thank you!
