Citta New-moon Uposatha

Citta New-moon Uposatha

Today is the Citta New-moon Uposatha, a meaningful day for observance and spiritual practice.  It is a valuable opportunity for lay practitioners to cultivate renunciation by observing the Eight Precepts, simplifying life, and turning inward. Grounded in moral virtue, we let go of desires and ill will through loving-kindness.  With body and speech restrained, the mind becomes calm and clear, allowing insight into impermanence and non-self.

Let us reflect on the Dhamma, perform meritorious deeds, and practise with diligence, mindfulness, and joy.
