CNY 2026 | Returning to work with a refreshed spirit

CNY 2026 | Returning to work with a refreshed spirit

After the joy and warmth of the Lunar New Year celebrations, many of us return to our workplaces carrying memories of reunion dinners, family visits, laughter, and meaningful conversations.  The festive season offers a precious opportunity to reconnect with our loved ones and to pause from the busyness of life.

As we step back into our professional lives after the New Year, we can carry this refreshed spirit into our work.  Our jobs are not merely a means to earn a living, but also a field where we can contribute positively to our colleagues, customers and community.

In today’s fast-paced world, it is easy to focus on chasing material success such as promotions, higher income and recognition.  True success is not measured only by what we gain but also by the wholesome intentions we cultivate and the value we bring to others.

May this new working year inspire us to balance worldly responsibilities with spiritual growth.  May we use our skills and opportunities wisely, contribute positively to society, and continue walking the path of the Dhamma in both our careers and daily lives.
