From 18 to 20 October, Nalanda Dhamma School facilitators and volunteers from Serdang, Kuala Lumpur, and Johor Bahru gathered at Wisdom Park for the Annual Facilitators’ Retreat. Themed “Discover, Grow & Inspire”, the retreat was a time for renewal, reflection, and reconnection among the dedicated team of volunteers who guide and nurture young learners in Dhamma education.
Over the three days, facilitators participated in engaging learning sessions conducted by Sis. Nandini, Sis. Sunanda, and Sis. Hui Shien, who shared valuable insights to support personal learning and spiritual growth, as well as practical skills to support their service. The sessions inspired deeper understanding and strengthened the collective spirit of service among the participants.
The retreat also provided a valuable opportunity to kickstart planning for the 2026 Dhamma School year, as facilitators discussed new ideas, refined strategies, and envisioned how to further enhance the learning experience for students.
It was a weekend filled with meaningful conversations, teamwork, and joyful camaraderie — a true embodiment of the retreat’s theme, encouraging everyone to discover within, grow together, and inspire others on the Dhamma path.

Each learning session included discussions, presentations and interactive activities to deepen facilitators’ learning

The retreat is also a time for facilitators to connect better with spiritual friends and provide kind support to each other.

Sis. Hui Shien thanking the youth leaders for their thoughfulness and generous support throughout the year.
