Heartfelt appreciation to our Buddha Day volunteers

Important, inspiring and memorable moments during the Buddha Day Observance are captured by dedicated volunteers via photography and videography.

Yesterday, 14 June, the Buddha Day Observance Organising Committee hosted a Volunteers’ Appreciation to thank the many dedicated volunteers who made this year’s Buddha Day celebrations meaningful.

The gathering was filled with warmth and joy as participants relived cherished memories through a video presentation, uplifting hymn performances by Nalanda Dhamma School students and youths, and heartfelt volunteer sharings.

Following the Volunteers’ Appreciation Gathering, the Buddha Day Observance Organising Committee conducted a debrief session to reflect on the programme and identify areas for further improvement in future observances.

Thank you to Sis. Lim Lynn, the video producer, for the touching video that beautifully reflected the journey.

Sis. Loh Pei Qi, Chairperson of the Buddha Day Committee, extended her heartfelt appreciation to all volunteers.

The volunteers’ reflections highlighted the spirit of generosity, wholesome friendship, determination, and perseverance that made the seemingly impossible possible. Nalanda extends its deepest appreciation to all volunteers for their selfless service and contributions to the community.

May the merits of your wholesome deeds bring you much happiness, peace, and well-being.

View the volunteers in action and rejoice in the collective effort that helped create a meaningful Buddha Day celebration and opportunities for learning, service, and spiritual growth. Sadhu anumodana!
