On Monday 26 October, a group of Nalanda members visited Buddhist Maha Vihara, Brickfields, as part of the commemoration of the 20th Memorial Anniversary of the late Venerable Dr. K. Sri Dhammananda, the late Spiritual Advisor of Nalanda.
The gathering was a meaningful occasion for members to recollect fond memories of Ven. Dhammananda and the Vihara, where he spent much of his life tirelessly propagating the Buddha-Dhamma. Through his dedicated Dhammaduta work, he touched the lives of countless children, youths and adults, leaving a lasting legacy that continues to inspire generations of Buddhists today.

Together with Ach. S. Vijaya, members circumambulated the memorial stupa before offering dāna. Ven. Vijitha, a direct disciple of the late Chief, led the dāna offering and pūjā, making the occasion especially meaningful as members paid tribute to Ven. Dhammananda.
May we continue to uphold his legacy by learning, practising and sharing the Buddha’s teachings for the benefit of many.
