Organising Team has expanded and meets regularly to plan for the Fair.

In the past weeks, Nalanda Johor Bahru Branch members, devotees and volunteers have been working together to prepare for the upcoming Family Fun Fair on Sunday 21 September in Johor Jaya.  This yearly fund-raiser brings out the spirit of unity and concord, as everyone contributes in their own way and at the same time strengthen team work in the community.

The Organising Committee meets frequently to plan and discuss pertinent matters in order to deliver a smooth event.  Family Dhamma School parents and students have been brainstorming and finalising their contributions with the guidance of the facilitators. With vigour, members and volunteers also started community engagement to invite the Buddhist community to join the Fun Fair.

We invite all family and friends from near and far to come and support this wholesome event at Nalanda Education & Outreach Centre at 30, Jalan Dedap 26, Taman Johor Jaya.  The Fair starts at 8am to 2pm, and will feature over 70 stalls offering lots of home-cooked food, fresh produce, and household items. There will also be performances by talented students and volunteers, as well as a specially prepared exhibition. See you at the Fair!
