New book published : “Venerable Dhammavuddho – A Life Well-Lived”

May Venerable Dhammavuddho’s meaningful life inspire us to live every day in service to others and earnestly strive to realise the Buddha’s teachings.

In late January 2020, Nalanda Buddhist Society was entrusted by Theravada Buddhist Council of Malaysia (TBCM) to publish a book in honour of the late Venerable Dhammavuddho Mahāthera, who had passed away barely a month before. Initially planned for a March release, the commemorative book was recently launched on 19 December during the ‘Venerable Dhammavuddho 1st Anniversary Commemoration Service’ hosted by TBCM on-line.

“Venerable Dhammavuddho – A Life Well-lived” is a compelling narrative that is augmented by photographs which capture glimpses of Venerable’s simple life and historical moments, a testimony to his humble demeanour.  We are grateful to the editorial team and all contributors who worked tirelessly to chronicle this tribute to Ven. Dhammavuddho.  We also express our thanks to all sponsors and donors for your generous support to make this publication freely available to the public.

Let us rejoice and dedicate the merits of this book to the late Ven. Dhammavuddho.  May Venerable attain the highest bliss of Nibbāna.
