“Anicca vata sankharā” – all component things are subject to change.

Dame Jane Goodall, the world-renowned primatologist and conservationist, has passed away peacefully on 1 October at the age of 91.  For over six decades, she inspired humanity with her groundbreaking research on chimpanzees, her tireless advocacy for wildlife conservation, and her compassionate call to protect the Earth for future generations.  Her life’s work has left an indelible mark on science, environmental stewardship, and the global movement for compassionate living.

Nalanda Buddhist Society Malaysia offers our deepest condolences to her family, colleagues, friends, and countless admirers around the world who mourn the loss of a visionary and compassionate icon.  May Jane Goodall rest in peace.

“What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” – Jane Goodall.
