On Sunday 18 May, every level of Nalanda Centre was buzzing with activity as the community gathered for the last day of the Buddha Day Observance. Volunteers had started preparing shortly after dawn to welcome Pusat Darah Negara doctors and nurses, as well as devotees and the public for the Blood Donation Drive.
Throughout the day, we marvelled in the atmosphere of compassion and harmony which permeated the Centre even as people stood in line and waited for their turn. In coming together with the common goal of doing good, everyone was patient, kind and filled with gratitude for each other.
We extend our warmest appreciation to everyone who extended their support for the Blood Donation Drive. Your help will reach out to many more people in their gravest time of need, and potentially save their lives. Thank you!
