In honour of the legacy of our late Spiritual Advisor, Venerable K. Sri Dhammananda, Nalanda Institute Malaysia will be organising a special Intra-Buddhist Dialogue on Sunday 26 July to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his passing.

This meaningful dialogue brings together respected monastic and lay representatives from the Theravāda, Mahāyāna, and Vajrayāna traditions to share their experiences and insights on propagating the Buddha’s Teaching within their respective communities, while exploring how the Dhamma can be shared skilfully in changing times without comprising its original essence.

The dialogue will examine the diverse and evolving approaches, challenges, and opportunities in Dhamma missionary work, while highlighting the shared aspirations that unite Buddhists across traditions.  Through this exchange of perspectives, participants will gain a deeper appreciation of the richness of the Buddha-sāsana, as well as the importance of mutual understanding, cooperation, and harmony in preserving and propagating the Dhamma for the welfare and happiness of many.
