We welcome Dr. Phang Cheng Kar at Nalanda Centre to launch his latest book this Sunday.

Nalanda Centre is delighted to host the launching of Dr. Phang Cheng Kar’s latest book, “NOW: Who wants to learn MINDFUL-Gym?   12 Mindful Tools for Stress Reduction & Wellness”, followed by his talk.  Everyone is invited to attend this joyful occasion on Sunday.

About the Speaker/Author :

Dr. Phang Cheng Kar received his medical degree from the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and postgraduate training in psychiatry from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).  He was a lecturer in the UPM Medical School, and psychiatrist in Kuala Lumpur and Kajang Hospitals.  He is currently serving at Sunway Medical Centre.

His research interest is on mindfulness-based psychotherapies, where he developed MINDFUL-Gym™, which is a mindfulness-based stress reduction and wellness program.  He is the founder President of Kuala Lumpur Buddhist Mental Health Association (BMHA).
