Yesterday, on the full-moon day of Vesākha, over 2000 devotees friends from the Buddhist community joined the day-long celebration of Buddha Day at Nalanda Centre.  Many reunited with old friends and many more made new friends as the community from near and far gathered to honour the Buddha.

We express our deepest gratitude to venerable members of the Sangha, the Organising Committee, devotees, volunteers and the Buddhist community for coming together in unity and harmony which made this Buddha Day observance meaningful for everyone.  Thank you for your participation and support!

Wesak programmes at Nalanda continue until Sunday 18 May.  Today, we invite youths of ages 23 – 35 to join the Young Working Adults forum at 8pm.  Tomorrow, everyone is welcome to join the Dhamma teaching by Ven. Luang Por Dumrong at 8pm.  See you at Nalanda!
