Sis. Chwee Fang also led the discussion on how to reach out to more children who can benefit from Free School.
On Sunday 26 October, Nalanda Free School held its last-term teachers’ meeting, hosted by School Principal Dr. Ng Chwee Fang. The gathering brought together dedicated volunteer teachers to review their classes’ progress and reflect on the past term’s teaching experiences.
During the session, teachers shared updates on their students’ learning development and classroom dynamics. Sis. Chwee Fang also took the opportunity to express her concern about the mental well-being of students, encouraging teachers to be attentive and compassionate toward their emotional and psychological needs.
She further shared several practical approaches to classroom management, equipping teachers with better strategies to handle larger classes effectively and with care.
Sis. Nandini Tan also offered valuable advice, encouraging the team to increase student enrolment in the coming year so that more young learners can benefit from holistic, heart-based education. She emphasised that such education nurtures grounded values and wholesome character in students, when cultivated widely, can bring about positive change in society.
Nalanda Free School extends heartfelt appreciation to all selfless teachers and volunteers for their dedication in educating and guiding the next generation with kindness and compassion.
