On Saturday 20 September, the WACANA 2025 Programme Team visited Metta Lodge Pusat Buddhist Johor, to brief their EXCO on the upcoming Buddhist Conference.
Sis. Nandini Tan, one of the core organisers, introduced the conference theme, objectives, and programme highlights, while also sharing how Buddhist communities across Malaysia can actively participate in this important event.
The Metta Lodge EXCO members engaged enthusiastically, raising meaningful questions and offering their perspectives on how Buddhists in Johor could benefit from as well as contribute to the conference.
Sis. Nandini also spoke about the importance of collaboration among Buddhist organisations, emphasising that WACANA is not only a platform for learning and dialogue, but also an opportunity to strengthen fellowship and unity within the Malaysian Buddhist community.
Nalanda thanks the EXCO team of Metta Lodge for their warm welcome, hospitality, and support. We look forward to welcoming our friends from Johor at WACANA 2025 in December.
