Nalanda Institute Malaysia and Theravāda Buddhist Council of Malaysia are organising WACANA 2025 Buddhist Conference on Saturday 20 December, in Menara KEN, TTDI Kuala Lumpur. The theme for this year’s conference is “Awakening to Community Well-being : Contemporary Approaches ”.
WACANA 2025 aims to address the challenges modern audiences face in connecting with institutionalised religious structures. Hence, an illustrious panel of Sangha members and lay Buddhist leaders will explore what principles can meaningfully guide and develop the Buddhist community.
We are honoured to host Ven. Ajahn Jayasāro for a Dhamma Teaching & Guided Meditation, followed by 4 important forums discussing pertinent issues close to our hearts – families, youths, seniors and volunteers.
We invite all Buddhist leaders, teachers, thinkers and change-makers to explore how the timeless Dhamma can direct our efforts towards building communal well-being.
