Young Working Adults Forum 2026: When Life Changes Faster Than You’re Ready For

Young Working Adults Forum 2026: When Life Changes Faster Than You’re Ready For

On Saturday 11 July, young working adults gathered at Menara KEN TTDI for an engaging forum titled “When Life Changes Faster Than You’re Ready For”.  Datuk Charlie Chia, Bro. Lee Kong Foo and Bro. T.P. Lim shared candid reflections, offering practical wisdom on navigating uncertainty and changes in career and life.

The speakers reminded participants that change is a natural part of life, and much of our stress comes not from change itself, but from resisting it.  Challenges, setbacks, and even starting over are not signs of failure, but valuable opportunities to learn, grow, and develop resilience.  They encouraged everyone to cultivate a growth mindset, remain adaptable, continually upgrade their skills, and have the humility to keep learning throughout life.

The discussion also touched on leadership and relationships in the workplace.  True leadership is grounded in humility, compassion, gratitude, and loyalty.  By taking time to understand and care for others, we not only strengthen our teams but also remain grounded amid success and responsibility.

The forum concluded with a timely reminder that while we cannot control every change that comes our way, we can always be mindful about our attitude and mindset.  By cultivating acceptance, patience, gratitude and grounding ourselves in spiritual practice, we are better equipped to embrace life’s changes with courage and wisdom.  We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our forum speakers for their valuable insights for the young working adults.
