Nalandian youths and F.U.N. participants happy with their new ‘home’ at Nalanda Youth Centre.

After 3 months of renovation, the Nalanda Youth Centre was finally opened for use on Saturday, 1 March.  The Youth Section and Dharma School teenagers have started using the facility since then.  Nalanda Free School classes will also be shifting there in stages beginning April.

The 2,000 sq. feet facility houses a Shrine Hall, the Nalanda Youth Library, two classrooms, an office, and kitchen.  It will cater to the increasing number of youth programmes and activities held at Nalanda.

Nalanda Youth Centre will be officially launched on ‘Nalanda Day’, 1 May 2014, in conjunction with the 11th Anniversary of Nalanda Buddhist Society, and the 2nd Anniversary of Nalanda Youth Section.  We invite all donors, sponsors, youths and well-wishers to join us that day for a celebration of ‘Buddhist youth movement’.
