On Sunday 19 April, Nalanda Youth Centre members gathered for Youth Members Day. The youths started the gathering by warmly welcoming several new youth members who have participated and contributed actively to the Youth Centre.

Following the introduction, Youth Secretary, Sis. Lim Cai Pei shared the programmes organised by the Youth Centre from May 2025 – April 2026. The youths rejoiced over each other’s efforts and growth throughout the past year, which enabled various impactful programmes to be organised for the youth community.

Commencing with taking the Three Refuges, observing the Five Precepts, and reciting the Invocation Before Meetings.

In his message, Youth Leader, Bro. Yeo Disheng urged the youths to take a step out of their comfort zones to benefit others, having benefited from the Youth Centre themselves. He also encouraged the youths to recognise the efforts and goodness of everyone, including their own.

The gathering was graced by the presence of Youth Mentor Sis. Nandinī Tan, who encouraged the youths to take the opportunity of the year-long Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda 20th Memorial Observance to recollect and learn from Venerable’s missionary spirit, wisdom and compassion.

We rejoice over this harmonious and fruitful gathering and express our gratitude towards our youth mentors for their guidance throughout the years. May the youths continue to grow and move forward with renewed spirit! Sādhu anumodāna!
