A Sunday of togetherness and inspiration

A Sunday of togetherness and inspiration

The morning began with a tranquil meditation session.

On Sunday 28 September, the community came together for Samaggi Day, observed on the last Sunday of every month. Members and devotees were joined by Nalanda youths and Dhamma School students for morning meditation, offerings, and chanting, fostering a spirit of unity and harmony.

The morning service marked the first session of the Happy Mind, Happy Life series, featuring Dhamma talks in English by Bro. Tan Siang Chye and in Mandarin by Bro. Ooi Boon Keat on the theme “What is Mental Well-being?” Both speakers encouraged participants to reflect on the importance of cultivating the mind and nurturing wholesome attitudes as the foundation for mental well-being in daily life.

Making offerings respectfully to the Three Jewels.

Chanting with devotion and faith.

Sis. Paru shared the Samaggi message to the congregation.

During the Youth Sunday Service, Bro. Willing Chen delivered an inspiring talk titled “Don’t Fear Change, Be the Change!” He reminded youths to face life’s challenges with courage, adaptability, and a proactive spirit, highlighting how the Dhamma offers guidance for personal growth and transformation.

It was a Sunday full of learning, reflection, and inspiration for the entire community, a reminder of how the Dhamma continues to guide us toward resilience, positivity, and harmony. Sadhu.
