1 week to WACANA 2025 : preparations are rife

Nalanda members and volunteers are looking forward to welcome our guests and participants for WACANA on Saturday 20 December.

WACANA 2025 is just one week away!  Preparations have been on-going for the past weeks, and as we get closer to welcome and host over 650 participants and volunteers, Nalanda members and volunteers gathered at Menara KEN, TTDI on Thursday, 11 December for a comprehensive site visit and volunteer briefing.

The visit offered volunteers the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the venue layout, programme flow, and all key spaces used for the event.  Teams also conducted on-site stage rehearsal and a walkthrough of the entire program to ensure smooth coordination.

We will be welcoming most guests at the Ground Floor of Menara KEN.

Sis. Nandini Tan conducted a briefing of the building layout and spaces used for WACANA.

Detailed discussions were held to align each team’s responsibilities in order to provide a warm, organised, and thoughtful experience for all attendees.  The volunteers also rejoiced in this opportunity to be part of WACANA which brings together Buddhist leaders, teachers, youths, devotees and volunteers to learn and discuss contemporary approaches to community well-being.

With preparations well underway, we look forward to welcoming all to WACANA 2025 on Saturday, 20 December. See you there at Menara KEN, TTDI!
