Today, Saturday 23 May, leaders and volunteers from Nalanda Buddhist Society attended the National Wesak Conference 2026 at Menara KEN, organised by the Malaysian Buddhist Consultative Council. The gathering brought together Buddhist communities from across the country in a spirit of learning, fellowship, and shared commitment to the Buddha’s teachings.
Themed “Buddhist Principles & MADANI Practices”, the conference explored the profound synergy between timeless Buddhist teachings and the MADANI framework — Malaysia’s national policy vision emphasizing Sustainability, Prosperity, Innovation, Respect, Trust and Compassion.
We expressed our appreciation to MBCC for hosting this national conference, an important platform to exchange ideas, strengthen cooperation, and discuss ways to further promote harmony, education, and compassionate service in society.
