On Saturday 28 February, members of Nalanda Sungai Petani (SP) Branch gathered for their 13th Annual General Meeting at NEO Centre SP.  The meeting was also attended by Nalanda Honorary Secretary Sis. Livin Leow, the Branch Coordinator Sis. Evelyn Chow, and Sis. Wee Hwe Shean.

In this re-election year, Dr. Song Wai Leng re-assumed his role as Branch Chairman.  He reflected that the opportunity to serve is truly a blessing, allowing him to learn and practise the Dhamma while contributing to the community.  He also encouraged members to continue nurturing the Branch as a welcoming platform for people to learn the Dhamma.

Sis. Livin Leow shared updates from the Society.  Sis. Evelyn Chow reminded the Branch members that A.G.M. is more than a formal meeting; it is a chance for members to pause, reflect and reset the Branch’s intentions.  She encouraged members to contribute through small and steady efforts, walking a more joyful journey together in support of the Dhamma.

We express our gratitude and appreciation to the outgoing Committee for their committed service over the past two years in serving the community.  May the new Committee continue to serve the community with wisdom and harmony.  Sādhu anumodāna!
