On Sunday 12 July, 190 members of the Nalanda community including adults, youths and Dhamma School students gathered at Wisdom Park for a meaningful Community Learning Day.

The programme began with a guided campus tour, where many participants experienced Wisdom Park for the first time. Sis. Nandinī, the lead of Wisdom Park EXCO, warmly welcomed everyone and introduced Wisdom Park’s educational mission, ongoing programmes, and the Phase 2 expansion initiatives to enhance its learning facilities.

Smaller groups were formed for more comprehensive campus tour.

Adults and youths deepened their understanding of Kamma through an inspiring Dhamma talk by Achariya S. Vijaya.  He shared that kamma simply means intentional action and is a positive teaching that reminds us we are the architects of our lives.

The learning on Kamma was further enriched through Sis. Sunanda’s interactive workshop, where participants reflected on how intentions, choices and actions shape their lives.

The day’s joyful learning among the adults and youths reflected the spirit of kalyāṇa-mittatā.  May the seeds of right understanding planted during this Community Learning Day inspire wholesome actions and contribute to the well-being and happiness of many.
