On Sunday 18 October, a group of Nalanda members visited Subang Jaya Buddhist Association (SJBA) to participate in its Sutta learning programme, organised in conjunction with the 2026 Annual Rains Retreat.  The evening session featured the chanting of the Mahā Moggallāna Bojjhaṅga Sutta and a Dhamma talk by Venerable Prof. M. Seevali.

This meaningful visit also formed part of Nalanda’s commemoration of the 20th Memorial Anniversary of the late Venerable Dr. K. Sri Dhammananda.  Having played a pivotal role in supporting the establishment of SJBA, the late Venerable left an enduring legacy of service to the Buddha-Sāsana.

By gathering to learn, practise, and support one another, participants honoured his vision of a vibrant Buddhist community rooted in wisdom, compassion, and harmonious fellowship.  Sādhu anumodanā to everyone who contributed to this wholesome evening of learning and practice!
