Coming together in service for ‘Buddha Day‘

Coming together in service for ‘Buddha Day‘

On Sunday 17 May, Nalanda Volunteer Centre warmly welcomed over 70 volunteers for a briefing in preparation for Nalanda’s Buddha Day observance, which will be held from 30 May to 7 June.  During the session, volunteers learned about the host of programmes and exhibitions planned throughout the observance period, and received guidance from their respective team leads on their roles and responsibilities to help ensure a smooth, joyful, and meaningful celebration for all.

We deeply rejoice in and appreciate the volunteers’ selfless offering of time and service.  Despite the extended holiday period, many chose to set aside personal interests to contribute towards this wholesome and meaningful Buddha Day celebration.  May they rejoice in their meritorious deeds and continue to support the Buddha Sāsana.
