On Saturday 16 May, the Johor Bahru Branch Family Dhamma School joyfully resumed its sessions as children, parents, and facilitators gathered in preparation for the upcoming Buddha Day Observance, now just two weeks away. Guided by Sis. See Hui Shien and Sis. Saw Geik Cheok, students learned about the life of the Buddha, His Enlightenment, and His noble qualities.
The School also continued its preparations for the Wesak celebrations, with students and facilitators enthusiastically working on tokens for visitors and rehearsing for the Heritage Procession. With much dedication, everyone contributed their efforts towards making the observance a warm and memorable occasion for the wider community. These activities not only encouraged teamwork but also nurtured a spirit of generosity and service among the participants.

Several facilitators and students took the initiative to learn the basics of photography before classes commenced, equipping themselves with new skills to better serve the community. Their eagerness to learn and contribute reflects the vibrant spirit of the Dhamma School as they look forward to welcoming the public for the Buddha Day observance. We rejoice in their zeal, dedication, and harmonious efforts in preparing for this meaningful celebration.
