150 volunteers at WACANA 2025 felt deep joy to have played a part in making this Buddhist Conference an occasion to remember. Fortified with the spirit of ‘veyyavacca’ – service, everyone was a host regardless of their duties, to ensure that our friends and guests have a comfortable and meaningful experience at this rare gathering.
Hands-on preparations from early morning to packing up after the event, everyone served with kindness, teamwork and happiness. Their efforts not only supported a successful event but also beautifully reflected the values of compassion and community that the WACANA Conference stands for.
