On Sunday 12 October, Nalanda Youths and Dhamma School seniors came together for the much-anticipated Captain Ball Tournament 2025, bringing together over 30 participants in the spirit of camaraderie and teamwork.
The youths and teenagers had two training sessions to learn the basics of the game and build teamwork dynamics in preparation for the friendly tournament. These sessions were filled with joy, energy, and encouragement.
Sis. Wei Nee, the coordinator of Teenage Dhamma School, reminding students to keep safe, and compete fairly.
On the tournament day, participants formed four teams and played with strong teamwork and showed great sportsmanship towards one another. At the end of the tournament, medals were presented to the winning team, along with special awards recognising outstanding qualities such as “Most Caring Player” and “Best Sportsmanship Award”.
We thank the organisers and volunteers for their wholesome effort in organising this event and supporting the well-being of all participants.
We rejoice in the fellowship and friendship of the Youths and Dhamma School teenagers through this fun and joyful sports event. We look forward to seeing more collaborations with our Youths and Dhamma School teenagers in the future!
